Haulotte strengthens service network in Italy with new facility near Rome

Haulotte has strengthened its customer service network in Italy with the opening of a new workshop in Aprilia, near Rome, aimed at improving support for customers across Central and Southern Italy.



Operational since January 2026, the facility represents a strategic investment designed to bring Haulotte closer to its customers by offering faster response times, improved logistics, and reduced machine downtime. “The opening of the Aprilia facility allows us to fill a historical gap in the region, where direct manufacturer service centers were previously lacking,” said Nicola Violini, General Manager of Haulotte Italia. “With this new structure, we can simplify logistics, shorten machine downtime, and provide a reliable local service hub for customers in a rapidly growing market.
 
The new workshop includes 600 m² of indoor service space and 1,000 m² of outdoor area, dedicated exclusively to the maintenance and repair of Haulotte machines. It complements the mobile service operations already active in the region and supports customers in areas with a high concentration of rental fleets and lifting equipment.

Until now, complex workshop repairs for customers in Central and Southern Italy were often handled at Haulotte’s Milan headquarters, resulting in longer transport times and higher costs. The Aprilia facility now enables customers to benefit from faster service interventions and lower logistical costs.

“The strong demand we are already seeing confirms how necessary a direct Haulotte presence in this region was,” added Giovanni Zaccaria, Service Manager at Haulotte Italia. “This new workshop allows us to deliver specialized technical support while improving fleet uptime for our customers.”

In today’s access equipment market, after-sales service has become a key differentiator. Alongside its machines, Haulotte offers a full range of maintenance contracts, from scheduled servicing to full-service agreements with extended warranty coverage, all carried out by qualified technicians using original spare parts.

The opening of the Aprilia facility reflects Haulotte’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its service network and supporting customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their machines. “Especially for rental companies, where operational continuity is critical, providing reliable and accessible service is essential,” concluded Nicola Violini. “Our goal remains clear: delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.”
