Having been in restrictions for more than six months and lockdown in Victoria for a lot of that, we are looking forward to a return to some normalcy ready for the summer. Like everyone, Haulotte has been hit in different ways by this pandemic, but what has really stood out is the resolve and hard-working attitude of the team.
Throughout the long, cold, LONELY winter, our PDI, parts and service teams continued to work, day-in, day-out, to ensure that machines were delivered and maintained operation for Australia’s construction industry. Our administrative staff in Victoria have been balancing working from home while home-schooling their children that were only allowed out for one hour a day.
They have all adapted to the new changes, including sign-in registers, more thorough cleaning and regular disinfecting hands and surfaces. Thankfully modern technology has enabled some face to screen contact with teams able to catchup via video conferencing tools. Now as Victoria is getting ready to return to the office for the first time since July they must adjust to social distancing and masks as the new normal.
